Step-by-Step to Final Piece Part 1

Using black lino printing ink I roled it onto a piece of metal and put the one metre fabric over the ink and hand draw the window shapes using the end of a paint brush.  Because the metal was only an A4 size I had to move  the fabric around a lot.

I produced a design in my sketchbook that I would use on my final piece and gave it to my tutor so that it could be put on screen. Because my screen had a few holes in it I had to cover the holes with masking tape.

At first I had to iron my fabric onto the table so that my fabric sticks to the table. After screen printing  the first row I covered them up with newspaper and printed the second row. The same I did with the third and fourth row untill the fabric is covered. Letting it dry  I ironed it again.
